What order should you fight the bosses in Elden Ring?
Here is the list of the boss in order which you have to beat the boss in-game. But for this, you have to obtain two Great Runes. Some of the bosses are pretty easy to beat whereas a few are big bad. We are suggesting you an order that is wonderful to play the game.
- Shardbearer one [Godrick].
- Shardbearer two [Rennala].
- Godfrey, First Elden Lord (Golden Shade).
- Morgott, the Omen King.
- Fire Giant.
- Maliketh, the Black Blade.
- Godfrey and Hoarah Loux.
- Radagon and Elden Beast.
Godrick the Grafted

The Grafted Godrick is the master of Stormveil Castle. First, you have to defeat Margit, the Fell Omen after that you can beat him. It’ll allow you to access the areas where you’ll find him.
You can also skip the castle and move to another difficult region of the game to get the Great Rune of other Shardbearers. Be careful of his earthquake attack, he’ll strike an ax on the ground two times. In addition to this, he’ll also create a damaging whirlwind AoE which increases in size triple time. After activating the third damaging whirlwind he’ll also spin into the air thus creating a powerful attack with the help of his ax. Though his regular attacks are easy to face whereas the jumping attacks and combat skills are much more effective.
When he is left with his half health, he’ll start screaming and chopping at his arm. Take the advantage and damage him as much as you can before he enters his second phase. At the beginning of his second phase run towards his right side to avoid the arc of his flame. Now he’ll begin fire attack from his new dragon arm. You can ask Nefeli for help, but you have to talk with her in a room to the right of the courtyard. Before talking to her you have to fight with the bladed Stormhawks.

Rennala, Queen of the Full Moon
If you’ll continue following the path your next destination will be the Academy of Raya Lucaria. Here eventually you’ll find the Rennala Queen of the full Moon. She is one of the easier bosses to beat in the game. Hence it’ll easily work out for you.
To beat the Lady boss first you have to beat the Red Wolf of the Radagon after that you can open your way towards Shardbearer lies Rennala Queen of the Full Moon.
Basically, there are two phases of the fight. In beginning, she’ll float around the ceiling in a shielded cocoon. Hit 3 of the child-like scholars with the glowing aura and the cocoon will break, eventually, she‘ll fall down on the floor. She’ll start to glow as soon as possible quickly back off to save yourself from the AoE explosion.
Now Rennala will transport you to a moonlit lake and start firing sorceries at you. Be careful here a beam will shoot you. Look for the crystal shards as she‘ll rapidly fire at you. Use bleed it is pretty good against her. Rennala will create an Area of Effect shockwave around her and ask different enemies, ranging from wolves to a dragon. If you can ask anything to wave off the enemies that will make your fight easier. And another way is to stay violent and beat her.
Godfrey, First Elden Lord (Golden Shade)

Now you can enter the Royal Capital of Leyndell with two great runes in hand. First, you have to reach Altus Plateau. There are many ways to get inside the capital. You can enter through the back door by defeating the Draconic Tree Sentinel boss. You can also reach there by solving Fia’s quest. Now face the Godfrey, First Elden Lord.
Morgott, The Omen King
Face one of the hardest bosses in the game. Beat Godfrey to fight with Morgott the Omen King in the Royal Capital of Leyndell.
This toughest boss is very quick and deals a lot of damage. Ask Melina for help and use NPC ashes like Oleg during the first phase of the fight to split his aggro. Firstly he‘ll use his sword, hammer, throw knives and summon light swords from above that you split the arena into sections. Hit hard whenever he turns his back to hurt her. Greatshield is also good during the first phase because of his physical damage attacks.
When he is half in terms of health, he‘ll explode in an AoE and his sword looks like an occult infusion. Be careful especially when his sword turns red.
To beat Morgott you have to be aggressive and aware of his longer combos to keep your summons alive. Once you’ll be used, he can’t give you too much trouble anymore. Fortunately, Margit’s Shackle also works on Morgott thus you’ll get a little bit of help.
Fire Giant
Once you beat the Morgott, the path to the Mountaintops of the Giants will open up. The Fire giant is very big in size and his attacks also cover a wide area. You have to say underneath him so that you can protect yourself from him and attack at the foot you can target. The key to winning this combat is to attack the same foot again and again. Focus on the spot where you attack his foot previously.
During the second phase, the giant is on his knees. Behind his legs is the safest place to deal damage. Another bold alternative is to provoke him to attack and then hit his hands. He‘ll explode like a volcano and also save yourself from his flaming pillar AoE. Hide under his legs to save yourself.

Maliketh, The Black Blade
Now you are moving towards the end of the game, but for this, you have to kill one of the toughest bosses Rune of Death. Melina will transport you to the top of Crumbling Farum Azula, an area where he lies.
During the first phase of the fight, find possibilities to get close to the Beast Clergyman. You can keep yourself safe by dealing with damage as fastly as possible. If you can get an idea where he‘ll land next, attack him.

Now you’ll see the Godfrey again, the other challenging fight. Godfrey first fights you as the First Elden Lord and after that, he’ll fight with you as the warrior Hoarah Loux.
